History and description
The graveyard at Tandabin is located 25 km west of Hashtpar, and only 3 km north of Mariyān. It is, indeed, related to the graveyard at Mariyān. Eight megalithic, stone-built tombs were excavated in an area to the west of the village of Tandabin.
Archaeological Exploration
The graveyard at Tandabn was excavated by Mohammad Reza Khalatbari on behalf of the Iranian Center for Archaeological Research in 1999.
Finds
Finds consist of skeletal remains, plain pottery, typical Iron Age II gray ware, and weapons in bronze or in iron.
