Archaeological excavations at Arg-e Nāderi, Khorasan

The second season of archaeological excavations at the site of Arg-e Nāderi, near Shirvan, was carried out by a team of Iranian archaeologists in the summer of 2023. Arg-e Nāderi is a sizeable mound in the Atrak River valley in northern Khorasan. The site has a long archaeological sequence from the Chalcolithic period to the nineteenth century.
